Rust is Gold Coffee strives to provide a family environment with the hard work ethic of the past.
In keeping with the philosophy of “We Love Local”, we are proud to be a strong supporter of local coffee roasters and will carry several local coffee blends that encompass our core values.
Route 66 Java
Our first signature blend comes from Route 66 Java which is a shade grown, organic, Brazillian coffee blend. The taste is a rich blend, smooth, with a hint of caramel. Locally roasted on an air-bed roaster, in micro-batches.
The coffee Beans featured in Rust is Gold Coffee’s House Espresso Blend are sourced from the Sidamo region of Ethiopia by the Guji tribe, as well as a Brazilian coffee produced by farmer Ricardo Tavares in Angelandia, Minas Gerais. The Brazilian provides a robust body and chocolatey flavor to the espresso, while the fruitiness, floral aroma, and natural acidity in the Ethiopian bring complexity and an enjoyable high note to the end of the cup.
